Payday Always Comes!
Many work for just a weekly paycheck. They punch a clock and only do a good job when their boss is looking. They take an extra break or don’t finish their tasks. Usually those people gripe that they don’t get the recognition and the pay they want, but ultimately they do. They look to that day for just their paycheck, but payday always comes.
Then there are the others, and hopefully you are one of them. They are considered the do gooders who come and put in a hard day of work. Are timely. Are consistent. They put in the effort and work to do a good job, not just for the paycheck, but for the right to know that they have earned it! For them payday always comes, but even more so!
These are the only two types of employees but what about entrepreneurs?
Entrepreneurs are another breed. They have a drive in themselves to create something and in that creating they desire to serve others and ultimately too, get a paycheck. Not every entrepreneur has a long game view and do shortcuts for a quick paycheck that doesn’t serve their customers. Those entrepreneurs usually go back to the first paragraph as they don’t have a long game view to serve their customers, but even then payday always comes.
The entrepreneurs that do the shortcuts usually go back to the type of person in the first paragraph as they don’t have a long game view to serve their customers, but even then their payday always comes.
Every day you work for yourself, and the right to know ultimately that you have an expectation in this life and in the one to come that a payday will come.
I call that a payday promise.
I love this quote: ‘‘If you don’t see results right away don’t worry. God doesn’t pay by the week, He pays at the end.’
Quit worrying if you will be noticed, and griped if it doesn’t look like you aren’t getting your due.
God keeps good books and has put in place the law of sowing and reaping. His books and his principles never stop working. They can either work for you or against you.
So put in the effort. Do the work. Write. Make the calls. Spend time with you kids. Invest. Read. Whatever it is, do it!
Quit worrying about the results and rest in the knowledge that every seed you sow, will grow.
Because Payday Always Comes!
