In a new story from The Register (click here for the full story) there is proof that when the Google Toolbar is disabled… that it is still sending tracking data back to Google.

The author Ben Edelmen is a noted critic of Google the article says, and it also says that Google is updating their toolbars to correct this.

Even though they are correcting it; I still don’t trust toolbars…
